Pacing guide: Quiz · Presentational · Grammar: Checkpoint: future, si clauses, adjective clauses · Product: Formative quiz

  1. Instrucciones (3 min): Run the poll as a warm-up; read the quiz norms aloud. Students work individually; the auto-feedback makes this a formative checkpoint, not a grade.
  2. El futuro (10 min): Students complete the fill-ins and MC alone. Circulate; note who misses irregular stems (tendr-, saldr-, dir-, har-).
  3. Si + presente (10 min): Individual work. After 8 minutes, cold-call 2 students to explain why «Si tendré…» is wrong.
  4. Cláusulas adjetivas (10 min): Individual work. Ask: «¿La persona o el trabajo ya existe?» to anyone stuck.
  5. Vocabulario (7 min): Quick MC; then students write 2 sentences combining a profession + si clause on paper.
  6. Reflexión (5 min): Self-assessment scale; students circle the topic they will review before the IPA (Day 160).
  7. Boleto de salida (10 min): Exit MC + confidence check. Collect the paper sentences for a quick error scan to plan Day 152.

Formative checkpoint for Days 142–150. For a graded version, have students record answers on paper before clicking. Students who finish early can redo the explorer challenge from Day 142 or write the «Mi trabajo ideal» paragraph from Day 147 again with new verbs.

1Instrucciones de la prueba

Interpretivo

Antes de empezar

  • Trabaja solo/a y en silencio.
  • Lee cada oración completa antes de contestar: busca las pistas (si, busco, no hay nadie, en diez años…).
  • Escribe los acentos con los botones: trabajaré no es igual que trabajare.
  • Si te equivocas, lee la explicación y anota el error en tu cuaderno.

Work alone and silently. Read the whole sentence and look for clues. Type accents with the buttons. If you make a mistake, read the explanation and note it in your notebook.

Idea clave
